NJY Camps is looking for registered nurses to assist in the camp infirmary during main season at the Milford, PA campsite. The role of a camp nurse is to distribute camper medication at their required time of day, in addition to supporting the doctors in addressing all illness and injury diagnosis and processes. The infirmary is an environment that requires all personnel to be team-oriented, patient, organized, and above all, possess an ability to work with children. Throughout the day, campers of all ages attend jewelry-making to learn new techniques and create jewelry that will last for years! The role of the Jewelry instructor is to develop engaging projects, teach technique, and ensure safe and responsible procedures are maintained. Working with and leading other jewelry shop specialists, this position requires a hard-working team player that enjoys working with children!

Head Specialist- Camper Care & Inclusion

Job Description:

Round Lake Camp is a sleep-away camp based on an inclusion model for children ages 7-17 with, but not limited to, learning disabilities, social communication disorders, ADHD, and anxiety. The person in this role is part of the lead team and is essential in helping to ensure the individual needs of every camper is met. Working closely with the camp’s Directors, the Head Specialist- Camper Care & Inclusion is responsible for communication with the campers, their home health professionals, and all interested parties. Professional experience, ability to work with children, and strong communication skills are required.
