When children at NJY Camps build a campfire, swing a baseball bat or sing Shabbat songs, they are creating memories and friendships that become the framework of a vibrant Jewish life. In a rapidly changing world, Jewish camping builds Jewish community.

The fact is that adults who attend Jewish summer camps are more likely to donate to Jewish charities, attend synagogue and feel emotionally attached to Israel.

NJY Camps is the nation’s premier Jewish Camping organization, with overnight summer camps clustered at two locations serving children and families. The camp draws more than 5,000 campers each summer from Jewish communities around the world.

As an independent, non-profit organization, NJY Camps relies heavily on the support of our donors to provide Jewish children a magical place where Tikkun Olam –creating a better world– is fulfilled through positive Jewish living experiences.
