Dear Camp Nesher Staff Applicant:

Thank you for your interest in Camp Nesher. We are a modern orthodox, overnight camp for boys and girls entering 3rd through 10th grade. Our program includes activities ranging from land and water sports to arts & crafts, music, drama and teva and we are seeking qualified applicants to fill positions in all areas of camp. Staff will be expected to help develop and promote an exciting atmosphere filled with energy and ruach!

Please complete the Nesher Staff Application. It is also VERY important that you print three copies of this reference letter (PDF FORMAT) and that they are completed by reliable, objective people and sent to us as soon as possible. They will determine if we will contact you to set up an interview. Relatives may not be used as references!

Our season begins with a mandatory staff orientation the week before camp starts and runs through our last day of camp. Selected specialists will be required to arrive at camp several days earlier. Certain staff members will be called upon to participate in several pre-camp planning meetings, as well.

Those currently in the 11th grade are eligible to apply for a pre-counselor position. The pre-counselor year is the first year of full employment in camp and carries with it all the duties, responsibilities and privileges associated with all Nesher staff members.

We clearly expect all of our staff to be excellent role models for our campers at Nesher. We have great expectations for our summers and are looking for terrific people who will work with us to meet our challenge for excellence. Please note that tipping is NOT permitted at Camp Nesher.
