A
highlight of our second session is our joint program with Yachad, a
national organization specializing in mainstreaming boys and girls
who are developmentally disabled. There are accessible bunks on each
campus set up for these campers, their special needs, and their
specially trained staff. Yachad campers participate daily in all
activities with different bunks.
Our
Yachad B'Nesher campers add a special ruach to camp that is
unparalleled and difficult to describe. Campers often express that
developing relationships with the Yachad campers is one of the
greatest parts of their Summer. |
