Adventure Training Building self esteem is a major part of the NJ
Y mission, there is no more evident place to see this than at the Ropes Course. The NJW course is 60 feet high and offers our campers individual challenges that truly boost ones personal self esteem. There are
both low and high ropes challenges available.

Lake & Pool Activities
There are 2 components of water activities used at the NJ Y Camps. There is a beautiful Olympic sized
pool at NJW and CLC, as well as 2 sparkling lakes. Both instruction and recreational activities are given
at the lake and pool. The lake activities include paddle boats, row boats, playaks, kayaks, canoes, and
sail boats. The iceberg and rave are also very popular elements that are now used at both lakes as well. Campers are also given rides on Jet skis and banana boats at the CLC lake.

Athletics
Campers receive instructional athletics 6x per week as well as recreational sports in the afternoons. Activities rotate between nucombe, soccer, softball, tennis, basketball, gymnastics, and archery.

Electives
Campers are given choices daily. Most activity periods last for an hour and are rotated every 2 days.

painting, woodshop, radio, nature, mountain biking, rocketry, tie-dying, ceramics, woodshop, roller blading, Israeli and modern dance, low ropes and so much more.
