Mature & Highly Skilled Professionals Provide Individual Supervision
The Cedar Lake Camp staff is carefully selected and trained to provide empathic leadership and care. In keeping with the policy of
the New Jersey Federation of YMHA´s and YWHA´s, our staff consistently exceeds the standards recommended by the American Camping Association. Highly skilled professionals, dedicated to a standard of excellence,
provide personal supervision for each child. Similarly, all specialists are highly qualified and experienced in their fields and certified, where certification is available. Counselors with a rich diversity of
backgrounds have at least one year of college. There is one staff member to every two and one half campers, with an average of one bunk counselor to every five children.
Health Supervision
One resident doctor and three nurses are on duty around the clock in our Health Center. The entire health program has been thoughtfully planned to fit
the needs of our campers and is supervised by the outstanding New Jersey physicians on the Medical Committee of the New Jersey Federation of YMHA´s and YWHA´s.
