Learn What Makes Us Unique
The Kislak Adult Center offers 7 different summer programs - each unique unto itself. At Kislak
Elderhostels, participants delight in the many activities and programs available to them at the
center, as well as the intellectual stimulation of the college-level courses. Extra-curricular activities include low-impact aerobics, computer instruction, craft classes, fitness walks,
discussion groups, shuffleboard, tennis, swimming, boating, fishing and live entertainment nightly.
Accommodations & Dining
Accommodations range from motel-style double rooms with private bathrooms to comfortable
rooms in country-inn style buildings. There are some single rooms available with hall bathrooms.
Housing is assigned in order of registration dates and special needs considerations. All classes
and meals are just a short walk from the housing units. Meal time is ideal for meeting fellow Hostelers, as you enjoy three specially prepared kosher meals a day plus snacks.

Transportation
Elderhostel participants generally choose to travel to the Kislak Center with their own cars. For
those preferring to take the bus, the Shortline from New York City to Honesdale, Pennsylvania is
available. (The bus fare is not included in the package.) Let us know if you choose to take the bus
to Honesdale and we will arrange to pick you up and transport you to the Center at no extra charge.
